National Numeracy Day

For National Numeracy Day we completed lots of different activities. First, we timed ourselves completing various activities to see how long they took to complete. We then organised some times from quickest to longest.

Then we investigated the calendar and completed a calendar quiz. We also ordered birthdays, learned a month rhyme and looked at how our knuckles can help us remember how many days there are in each month.

We were also set a game challenge! Miss Bland read us a letter from a well-known games company asking us to design an educational game to help children develop their times table knowledge or aid them with telling the time.

We had a brilliant Numeracy Day!
