Roald Dahl Year 1
Welcome to Roald Dahl class. We are a year one class. Our teacher is Ms Clarke and our teaching assistants are Ms Watts, Mrs Scott and Mrs Blackmur. Mrs Antliff teachers us PE on a Tuesday and Thursday.
All of our classes this year are named after famous authors. Roald Dahl was a British author of popular children's literature and short stories, a poet, screenwriter and a wartime fighter ace. His books have sold more than 300 million copies worldwide. He has been called "one of the greatest storytellers for children of the 20th century".

Homework Expectations
All children are expected to read their little wandle reading books daily. Each Friday they will be given an piece of SPaG and a piece of maths. These are to be handed in the following Friday to mark together. Children will also be given weekly spellings to learn each Monday.
