Welcome to Joe Todd-Stanton Class! We are a class of Year 3 children and our class teacher is Miss Dale. Mrs Papworth is our teaching assistant Monday to Thursday and on a Friday we have Mrs Bridge and Mrs Blackmur. Mrs Antliff teaches us PE lessons every Tuesday and Friday.
This year, all our classes are named after famous authors. Joe Todd-Stanton is a British illustrator of children’s books, primarily graphic novels. Todd-Stanton has been highly praised, with his book The Secret of Black Rock winning children book prizes. Where in English we study this book this year. Furthermore he has written Arthur and the Golden Rope, The Comet and Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx.
Homework expectation
The children will bring their homework home on a Thursday and it is expected to be returned the following Monday. The Children will receive two pieces of homework, a piece of Maths and a piece of SPAG. It is also expected your child regularly reads and uses Tackling Tables at home.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
