Welcome to Mary Anning Class. We are a class of Year 3 children. Our class TA is Mrs Papworth and the class is taught by Mrs Woodhouse each Friday. We have PE on a Tuesday and a Friday with Mrs Antliff. We also have specialist music teaching from Mr Hall every Tuesday.
On our page you will find knowledge organisers and class information. Keep checking back for updated photos.
All of our classes are named after famous scientist this year. Mary Anning was famous for finding fossils. She lived by the sea in the town of Lyme Regis in Dorset. She was the first person to find a whole Ichthyosaurus skeleton. She found many more ancient creatures in her life, including a plesiosaur and a flying reptile called Dimorphodon.
Homework Expectation
The children will bring their homework home on a Friday and it is expected to be returned the following Wednesday. The children will receive two pieces of homework, a piece of Maths and a piece of SPAG. It is also expected that your child regularly uses Tackling Tables and Spelling Frame at home.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
