Welcome to Jane Goodall class! We are a class of Year 2 children and our class teacher is Mrs Du. Mrs Bridge is our teaching assistant. Mrs Antliff will teach us PE lessons every Wednesday and Thursday.
All of our classes are named after famous scientist this year. Jane Goodall is considered
the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees, after 60 years studying the social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees. She first went to Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania to observe its chimpanzees in 1960. Jane Goodall is the founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and the Roots & Shoots programme, and she has worked extensively on conservation and animal welfare issues.
Homework Expectation
The children will bring their homework home on a Friday and it is expected to be returned the following Friday. The children will receive two pieces of homework, a piece of Maths and a piece of SPAG. It is also expected that your child regularly read and uses Tackling Tables at home.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
