Year 6 Post-SATs trip out; NH, MW and MH |
Dear Yr6,
Above are the times of the SATs test next week. You have all worked extremely hard getting ready over the last few weeks and will get your reward for this on Friday when the school pays for a trip out for you!
Here are some last minute tips for the weekend…
From,
Mr Harmer, Mrs Woodhouse and Mrs Hawkins.
Congratulations Red Deer class! You have filled your Goody Jar!
You voted for PJs/Onesies and film for your treat and I am pleased to say that this will take place on Wednesday afternoon (8th Feb.). You should bring your comfy PJs or Onesie (only if you want to) and a pillow or cushion to relax on (again, only if you want to), to school on Wednesday. You can then get changed at lunchtime and be dressed properly again for the walk home. If you would like to, you could also bring a small bag of popcorn to eat during the film!
Well done again - I hope you enjoy your treat! Mr Harmer
Christmas Concert
Really well done to all of Red Deer class for your excellent singing, playing and readings at the church last night! You were all great and can have 5 housepoints each! A special mention must go to Amelia and Jessica, who both stepped in at the last minute when 2 readers didn't turn up - an extra 5 housepoints to you two!
Rachel from Anglian Water came to visit us today. She spoke about the importance of cutting down the amount of water we use and what we should and shouldn't be allowing down our plugholes!
We enjoyed the experiments, even the 'poo and wee' experiment at the end!!!
You can enjoy some photos from the day, in the slideshow below....

Well done to everyone who brought their Summer homework back in school today! I was extremely impressed with the amount of thought which went into all of the choices you made. More than that, I was really proud of how thoughtfully you shared your 'Little Bags of Summer' with Fox class this afternoon. You were polite, confident, patient and considerate - you can each have 5 housepoints!!
Mr Harmer
